Our Osteopath:-
Osteopathy looks at the inter-relationship between the structure of the body and the way in which it functions. An Osteopath assesses the patient from a mechanical, functional and postural viewpoint and applies a manual hands- on treatment to suit the individual's needs. An Osteopath uses a variety of techniques which may include soft tissue massage, rhythmic stretching techniques, articulation, traction, manipulation and exercises. Gentle release techniques are widely used and osteopathic treatment is seldom painful. Problems treated include joint and bone pains, posture changes, headaches, RSI, arthritis, sleeplessness and sports injuries. It is usual that a patient will need weekly treatment until the condition improves when less frequent maintenance may then be appropriate.
